More basement stuff!

Over Christmas, while Chris' parents were here, they helped us with installing the insulation panels for the basement. After repairing a small leak in the foundation, we're getting those hung back up and I'm working on water sealing the floor - which is about half done now.

I'm hoping to finish this part this weekend, as the contractor we hired to frame the interior walls (and the one wall of the playroom/bedroom that needs to be framed due to the water main valve) will be here Monday morning!

Brendan's First Haircut

As much as I didn't want to cut his hair and lose the "baby" look...he was starting to get kinda shaggy looking. So, we headed over to a Cookie Cutter's to get his first hair cut. He did so well and now he looks like a little man! Here's some pictures...enjoy!




For those who have never been to one of these places, it was so cute! The kids get to sit in these little cars with steering wheels and everything. Then they put in a DVD for them to watch while they get their hair cut.
Brendan also got a balloon with a cookie cutter attached when he left for being such a good boy. He played with it all the way home in the car as well as later at home!
