Hats

Mamaw bought IU hats for the 3 grandkids back in the fall for the IU Football games. None of them had much interest wearing them. However, recently, in an attempt to stall bedtime, Brendan & Katelyn found their hats. Katelyn insisted on wearing hers this morning.

Too good not to share!

After taking this I realized that once Brendan turned 2, we only did pictures every 3 months until he was 3. But it is such a cute picture, I couldn't not share it! She looks so grown up here! Katelyn at 25 months

An Easter Egg Hunt

After brunch, we came back to our house to discover that the Easter Bunny had hidden some eggs early this morning.  The kids enjoyed searching for them and discovering the candy inside.

After gathering all the eggs, they decided it was time to play in the water table. :) It probably kept them busy for almost an hour!

Then later while Katelyn napped, Brendan wanted to do another egg hunt. So, I started to hide the eggs again, only to realize that he meant, he wanted to hide them himself and then find them himself. :)

Easter Brunch

After a nice Church service, we went to the Hawthorne's for an Easter Brunch buffet. Yum! The Easter Bunny was there for pictures and there was a balloon artist as well.

Brendan was pretty excited about the Easter Bunny...Katelyn was a little unsure, but did sit there without protest!

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny visited our house last night! Before getting ready to go to Church, the kids got to open their baskets and enjoy a couple Reese peanut butter eggs. :)

The big gift that the Easter Bunny left was a water table for the porch/deck. It was a huge hit! They couldn't wait to get water in it. :)

Easter Dinner

The Easter Bunny stopped on Saturday at Mamaw & GrandBob's house. :) All the cousins got some goodies in their basket complete with a few eggs filled with Jelly Beans.
