The pediatric cardiologist was able to review Katelyn's echo that was done this morning.
A much more traumatic experience this time around. Katelyn really doesn't seem to like to be woken up, which they did when they started putting the wires on and the cold gel. Plus, she had to actually be still/quiet for the test, so Chris and I had to more or less hold her down with a pacifier in her mouth, which I don't think she enjoyed either.
The interpretation is that she has a PDA and PFO that were both smaller if not one already closed on the repeat Echo. The pediatric cardiologist is not worried at all. He says that sometimes they take up to 3 months to close, and seemed to have no doubt that they will eventually. So we are very relieved with the good news. :) I think that we will end up doing a repeat in a month or so just to make sure that they are closed & for my peace of mind.
Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers!
