Talking to the bears
We're trying to get Katelyn used to lying flat some (she sleeps in her bouncy seat...don't flame! I'm not happy about it, but if she doesn't sleep, then I don't sleep), so when happy, we put her in the pack n play. she really likes the bear mobile that it has.

I'd say what works...works and be happy you're getting some sleep. We tell parents with babies that have bad reflux to consider that as an option, so you're not that crazy.
