The yellow boats are still a big hit with Brendan and this year Katelyn's really in on the action too!
Bumper boats!
A little snack...
More swimming time!
Katelyn's funny about her swimming suit. She LOVES to get it on, and wears it into the pool, but once she gets out once and her suit is wet, she wants it off, now! And does not want it back on. :)
We met up with some friends at Spencer's today to pick some strawberries. We probably should've had to weigh the kids before we began picking and again afterwards and pay for their weight difference...they wouldn't stop eating them straight from the plants! :)
We drove back from Brown County today after a wonderful mini-vacation.
After some naptime, we were invited to the Barbato's house for a poolside dinner. :)
The three cousins had a great time playing together.
Brendan on one of the porches with some of his trains...he wanted to bring them all, but luckily we were able to convince him to only bring part of them. Somehow they all made it home too. :)
Our cabin was out in the middle of no where - really. :) The road that we took to get out there literally was gravel at some points. There was also a huge hill to get to the cabin.
Chris and the kids enjoyed playing on it.
There apparently was an incident of Brendan pushing one of the strollers down the hill...luckily Katelyn was not in it. :)
On Saturday, we made the trip south to Metamora, Indiana. I hadn't been here in years - probably since elementary school. There was a restored steam engine in town that we had tickets to ride. We had a very excited little boy on our hands.

All of the volunteers out for the day were so kind to us and our train loving little man. They gave him a lump of coal out of the tender to hold onto and keep. :)

This is the owner of the steam engine - he had a little talk with Brendan and then took him up in the steam engine again to look around.
