First Steps!

Chris and I were getting Brendan ready for bed on Friday night (1/30)...had his bath, brushed his teeth and were playing after getting him in his PJs. I set him down on his feet in front of me with Chris about 4-5 feet away and told Brendan to "go get Daddy"...and low and behold, he did! He took at least 3, if not 4 wobbly steps towards Daddy's outstretched arms! So cute! Of course we didn't have the video camera near by...didn't think that there was anyway he'd take some steps. He's taken maybe one step with me before, which immediately resulted in him performing a face plant, which I didn't think counted as his "first steps".

So now, he's officially "on the move". Granted, I don't think that he even realized what he did because he hasn't done it again, at least not more than the one step usually followed by the face plant. Oh, well...I'll enjoy my last few days without him walking behind me or running away from me!
