Big Girl Food!

We are starting Katelyn on some bites of "real" food. Today, we tried some sweet potato, pears, & green beans. Yum! She wasn't real sure, but I'm sure she will get it really soon.

This might be a little advanced...

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving Day at Mamaw & GrandBob's house again this year. Lots of family & good food.

Katelyn enjoyed crawling around and playing with lots of different toys.As well as watching GrandBob's fish.

Thanksgiving Eve

Every year, we have a Thanksgiving Eve dinner with all of my dad's extended family. This year it was in Anderson at Edgewood Country Club.
We all had a wonderful time visiting and eating some good food.

Alana hogging, er, I mean, hugging! baby Bobby. ;)

Yummy dinner!
The three big kids all crawling down the hall. This is one of Brendan's favorite games with baby Katelyn. He often gets down on the floor and says to Baby Katelyn, "Crawl with me, Baby Kate-n".

Playdate for Katelyn & Lily

Since Molly was in town, I had Jenny, Bobby, Molly & Lily over for a playdate. The girls had lots of fun playing with toys and crawling after each other. The mommies enjoyed chatting. Bobby...well, he enjoyed eating and napping!

Molly, John & Lily Visit

Uncle Mark & Aunt Julie were wonderful and invited everyone over for dinner so we could visit. Lily & Katelyn had a Tupperware party for a little bit. Katelyn was very tired after being at school all day and was as Alana called her, "A Party Pooper". :)

Baby Bobby enjoyed being held. Brendan LOVED Uncle Mark's electric train set and old firetruck.

I'm very behind on posts. Hopefully I will get some up soon! Check back for pictures from the pumpkin patch, Halloween & Trick or Treating, and playing on the beach in Florida!

Heading home

Of course Brendan had to make a train out of our diaper/packing boxes.

A Family Picture

Not bad for 9 people...three of whom are under 3 years of age!

Our two little munchkins

Memory Jar

Mamaw had a great suggestion of collecting some sand from the beach in a jar to take home. Chris, Brendan & I gathered some on our last night at the beach to put with the little shells that Brendan & Mamaw collected. Hopefully it will help Brendan remember his first trip to the big sandbox.

Katelyn & Daddy

Hanging out on the balcony and then doing a little "surfing" on the LeapFrog laptop.

Building a Pond

Uncle Robbie decided that it would be fun to build a little pond for the bait fish that he caught to swim in. Brendan thought that this was very exciting. He ran back and forth between the "pond" and the cooler where the bait fish were swimming. The fun ended when the tide came in and washed the dam away. The bait fish swam back out to sea.

Flying a Kite

Uncle Rob & Aunt Jenny bought a kite to fly on the beach while we were on our trip. Brendan and Daddy got to help out some too.
