35 Weeks - a few days early

We decided that we weren't dragging purple bear on our trip and we certainly couldn't fit the chair the kids sit in in the car! So, this week, we're a little early on our picture! Can't believe that Katelyn will be 8 months on Monday!

Katelyn is a speedy crawler now and tries to get into all kinds of stuff. She loves her brothers trains and cars, so we often call her "Baby Zilla" because they go straight into her mouth and it looks like she's eating the poor train or car.
She pulls up to a stand and will sometimes push the furniture around some. No real cruising yet, but I know that it will really just be a matter time. However, she is so fast at crawling, she may not get motivated to walk, which is OK by me!

Sleep - no vast improvements there in terms of duration, but she is much better at getting herself to sleep in her crib. This was a necessity after having to lower the crib mattress. I couldn't lay down a sleeping baby if I had to!

Eating - We're going to try some new foods once we get back from our trip and maybe even get brave and do something beyond puffs if she shows interest.

Fun stuff - Katelyn loves to wave at people & herself. So cute! She is also enjoying clapping or playing pat-a-cake.

Not sure of Katelyn's exact weight, but she's not much over 15 pounds. We will have a 9 month official check-up in December.
