Mount Washington Cog Railway

On Thursday, we drove about 30 minutes to the base of Mount Washington, were we boarded a train on the world's first mountain climbing cog railway.

Brendan seemed to enjoy the ride up for the most part...he was a little cuddly at times and seem a little bit concerned about the whole ordeal, but eventually we could hear him saying "Weee! Weee!"

It got a little cloudy as we got to the top of the mountain, but the views were still spectacular!

Apparently all the fresh air wore Brendan out. He slept the entire hour back down the mountain on my shoulder. I thoroughly enjoyed the cuddle time as he rarely wants to be held these days.

A look back up the mountain.

A boy and his blankie. Is it just me or does his hair look red!?!

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend checking out the Mt. Washington Cog Railway. You may want to get a reservation before your trip to ensure that you have tickets on the train. Apparently it is very popular, especially in the fall.
