Behind the Scenes at the Zoo

We once again visit the Indianapolis Zoo with Sally Z., but this time it was not part of our annual weekend/stay-cation.

Our first stop was the new "Birds of Flight" Exhibit where you are able to feed the birds. The kids got a big kick out of it. :)

We also took some time to check out the Dog Show and have a snack break. :)

Then it was time to meet the Orangutans.

It was lunch time for them. So, we got to see them eat their lunch, plus have a juice box...even putting the straw in it! They even got a piece of gum afterwards. :)

The highlight of Brendan's day at the zoo...the train ride.

We did get to see an elephant and some giraffes on our train ride. It was a great end to a great day at the zoo!
