More Silver Beach Time

After naps and a quick dinner, we headed back to Silver Beach.  You have to buy a parking pass to park there and it's good for all day, so we figured this evening was a good time to go back!

Inside the Carousel Building there was a model train display that of course Brendan enjoyed.

 Afterwards, a "game" of checkers.  Chris tried to explain the rules of the game, but stacking them up was just more fun.  :)

 Then all the sudden we heard a train horn and a rumbling outside...a freight train was coming by.    We were able to get so close. 

Across a little street from the Carousel, was the awesome splash pad. Brendan really enjoyed it. Katelyn had a little bit of fun, but it was a lot of water for her. :)

On the way out of Silver Beach, we stopped by the river and got out because the bridge over the river was turning in preparation for a train coming.

We had a river front seat to see the train cross over the river!

It was a pretty good end to a pretty good day.
